I’m Walt Williams Jr. I am a man who can tell you about the grace and mercy of God, even after serving a lengthy prison sentence.
During the past seven years, I’ve had the opportunity to sing, play and give my testimony at venues in several cities; also singing with the Whisnants, Ball Brothers, Greater Vision, Joe Renshaw & New Destiny Quartet, and Triumphant Quartet at the Gospel Barn in Hillsdale, Michigan. This is where I also met my manager, Wes Middlebush, who has been instrumental in helping me navigate this “new land.”
I can also personally attest to experiencing God’s healing grace after being hospitalized with COVID-19 in 2021. Now, I am back “on the road” with even more conviction to bring the gospel message of hope, restoration and salvation.
If you come to one of my concerts and only listen to my singing and playing the keyboard, then you are missing out on the full purpose of this ministry, which is to show the love and grace of God to others and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus!
Wes & Ann Middlebush
My name is Dr. Wes Middlebush from Battle Creek, MI. I am a retired clinical psychologist who practiced with the Department of Veterans Affairs for 33 years and had my own practice. I also served as an officer during the Vietnam War. My wife Ann and I have been married for 11 years and have two married sons and five grandchildren. We attend Woodland Church in Battle Creek.
My passion is gospel music of the southern variety. I became hooked on this type of Christian music when I was 15 after hearing the Statesman and Blackwood Brothers on LP. Three years later, I organized a group of young men from different churches in Kalamazoo to form the Kinsmen Qt. We performed at various churches throughout the area, and I must say those were probably four of the best years of my life.
Then, just five years ago, I met Walt Williams Jr., who had been invited to perform at a concert in Hillsdale, MI at the Gospel Barn. After meeting Walt, I asked if he would like to have a manager/booking agent – and the rest is history.
God has opened the door for both of us, and we are truly blessed to be able to share our faith with so many people through Walt’s music ministry, and, most importantly, to see lives changed.
